CBeyond Enterprises Partnership Impacts Black College Males through The Collegiate Black Male Network
Professional Development and Career Readiness positions Collegiate Black Males for success through focused initiative
ORLANDO, Florida, September 15, 2021 ― CBeyond Enterprises Worldwide (CBeyond Enterprises) expands its reach in impacting Black rising professionals through an exciting partnership with The Collegiate Black Male Network (The CBM Network). CBeyond Enterprises is a Black-owned for-profit career-readiness and talent solutions provider that closes the skills gap in Professional Development centered around Soft Skills; by creating an equitable and inclusive training ecosystem for all college students regardless of gpa, major, location or undergraduate level.
With the goal of expanding the diverse talent-sphere by upskilling rising professionals at the undergraduate level; so they are equipped with the necessary Soft Skills to successfully secure early-career opportunities in the form of internships, co-ops and entry-level jobs. CBeyond Enterprises is proud to expand its reach through partnering with The CBM Network, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to increase the persistence and graduation rates of collegiate Black males through mentoring. Rooted in the core values of Commitment, Community, Diversity, Education and Integrity, they are breaking generational curses and preparing for new generational wealth.
“We are excited to partner with CBeyond Enterprises to provide more opportunities for the students we serve within The CBM Network. What stands out the most to us about CBeyond Enterprises is the fact that the goals and objectives closely align with those of our organization. We both strive to provide transformational experiences to students committed to learning and growing as young adults, not just individuals who have achieved a certain grade point average. Overall, we are excited to make a national impact through this collaboration.” shared Dr. Darryl Hylton, Jr, Co-Founder and CEO and Jamie Enge, Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer, The Collegiate Black Male Network
Fall 2021 ― The CBM Network launches its Onyx 25: 25 Under 25 Recognition & Leadership Program (Onyx 25) across the Eastern (DC, MD, VA, NC) and Midwest (IL, IN, KY, MO) Regions; selecting 50 high-performing Black male undergrad students into the program. Onyx 25 celebrates African-American college students across the nation who have proven themselves as role models for their respective campuses and communities, while supporting them in taking their talent to the next level. Students are nominated based on their achievement in one of the following areas: Arts & Humanities, Business, Education, STEM, and Human & Social Science. Onyx 25 creates an environment for structured learning and development coupled with the transformative impact of mentoring.
“This collaborative partnership is not just about providing training, it expands our reach and gives the opportunity to directly pour into the lives of Black male college students. This has many cascading implications for these young men as they journey through building their careers, family along with directly and indirectly impacting their communities. I am extremely humbled The CBM Network identified our Seek Opportunity Achieve Results (SOAR) Bootcamp as the ideal training pathway to incorporate into the Onyx 25 Program.” says Cebien Alty, Chief Executive Officer and Founder, CBeyond Enterprises Worldwide
As a Corporate Strategist with over two plus decades of marketplace experience, Cebien saw a need in the marketplace within the career readiness vertical. Rather than wait for a solution to manifest, he took a leap of faith and formed CBeyond Enterprises to create and grant the development access that is both equitable and inclusive by removing the barrier points that could cause promising talent to be overlooked ― with an emphasis on the diverse talent-sphere.
“To narrow the talent and opportunity gap, I truly feel that including as many of those who seek training and development as a tool to secure early-career opportunities, should have access to it. This is why CBeyond Enterprises accepts all college students who apply regardless of gpa, major, location or undergraduate level. With more partnerships like The CBM Network, we will continue to build a consortium of real change agents who will undoubtedly add to the availability of trained and developed diverse talent.” states Cebien Alty, CEO and Founder, CBeyond Enterprises WorldwideAbout The Collegiate Black Male Network
